About me:

You know the expression “there’s plenty of fish in the sea”? Well there’s even more aspiring lifestyle bloggers in this murky Hudson.

So how do you stand out when you’re a needle in a hay stack?

I’m still tryna figure that out myself. But I do know, when I’m skimming social media and come across new bloggers, I look for people who are relatable, authentic, down to earth, and also fucking fabulous.

I was born in Queens New York, but raised in Upstate New York on a farm. Two complete opposite ways of life, I know! My childhood consisted of playing with horses, chickens and goats - definitely not glued to a tv or phone. Touching the earth and getting my hands dirty (literally) was a normal day in my world, and I pride myself on that.

Growing up as a scrappy tom boy, the daughter of a butcher, I never would have imagined I would trade in 24 acres for a box in the sky, and skinned knees for stilettos.

Coming out of college, I starting working in corporate fashion and found myself stuck at a desk for endless hours, staring at spreadsheets and emailing people overseas that I would never meet. I was never going to get the opportunity to really be creative.

Rather than slaving 9-5 for someone else’s dream, I decided I’d rather hustle 24/7 to achieve my own. I took a risk and left my comfort zone to try and be my own boss.

Now I work freelance fashion jobs while blogging full time in New York City.

It’s hard to say what influences my style since it changes with my mood, music, and lifestyle. I’m really inspired by bohemian, sporty, sophisticated, edgy trends - which I know is a diverse range, but I’m really willing to try anything when it comes to fashion. Fashion is like a python, intricately detailed, and constantly shedding it’s skin, ditching old trends for the new.

One constant for me, I always take a trend and make it my own. I love mixing and matches high end with affordable brands to make it relatable to the every day woman. Sometimes it can be frustrating seeing all these high end brands you love but can’t afford. My blog is for the everyday woman on a budget. To dress on trend without paying the price.

I provide my readers with a “how to” guide for everything fashion, interior design, travel, and food.

It’s funny how a girl who grew up milking goats could dream of being a lifestyle influencer. But there’s no rule book when it comes to passion and following your dreams. It’s just a matter of taking the leap and getting out of your comfort zone.
