Let me start off by saying I’m just a normal girl who, of course loves to travel, but can’t always get to my top bucket list destinations due to budget or not having the time. I’m sure a lot of you can relate to this struggle, having the time but not the money or having the money but no time! With that being said, sometimes quick weekend getaways that are a few hour drive or train ride away can cure travel cravings until you’re able to fly to the big wish list destinations.

You would really be surprised how many gorgeous chic retreats are within hours of your home and can make you feel like you might as well have been on the other side of the world.

I’ll be showcasing my weekend getaways outside the big city of Manhattan as well as my larger trips when I get the opportunity. I’ll be focusing on discussing my experience from where I’m staying, whether it’s a resort or Airbnb, as well as the food, activities, culture, and everything in between!

I know I personally strongly rely on reviews before I spend my money and vacation time (Especially after what we all heard about Fyre Festival), so I want to give you guys the most honest and informative reviews I can!
